Webb Lincoln Essary was born on September 9, 1934 in Enville, Tennessee, the son of the late James Dexter and Millie Adams Essary. On April 10, 1953, he was united in marriage to Lou Jane Matlock Essary, who preceded her husband in death on December 22, 2012.
Webb lived in Savannah, Tennessee for the majority of his life. He traveled to Jackson, Tennessee to work for over 30 years. He spent 20 years working at Owens Corning Fiberglass and 10 years at American Olean Tile Company. Webb loved his family greatly, especially his wife Lou Jane. Together they took care of their families needs and everyone was family to them. As a younger man, Webb enjoyed fishing and coaching youth baseball. Webb was a fan of the Atlanta Braves and Nascar.
Webb Lincoln Essary departed this life on October 8, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years and 29 days.
He is survived by his son, Freddy Essary and his wife Susie of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Freeda Eaves of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Doc Essary of Luray, Tennessee; sisters, Margie Essary and Jupy Knauff, both of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Link Eaves and his wife Amanda of Memphis, Tennessee, Jason Eaves of Counce, Tennessee, Jeremy Eaves of Counce, Tennessee, Mary Churchwell and her husband William of Clifton, Tennessee, and Leah Bell and her husband Eric of Cordova, Tennessee; and great grandchildren, Traven and Shalanna Churchwell, both of Clifton, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carlos Essary, Alvie Essary, Maxell Essary, and James Essary; and sisters,Faye Bishop, Sue Clark, Lois Gene Smith, and Josephine Essary.
