Wes Harrison

John Wesley (Wes) Harrison was born June 18, 1975 in Shelby County, TN. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting just about anything. He always enjoyed any sports or activity his kids were involved in. He had the biggest heart and a contiguous smile that everyone loved. Wes had friends from coast to coast and was willing to help anyone he came in contact with or anyone that needed him.

Wes graduated from McNairy Central High School class of 1993. Wes was united in marriage to Sarah Alice Casey on May 20, 1995. He was a Journeyman Lineman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) for 19 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee.

Wes departed this life on December 10, 2020 in Sonora, California at the age of 45 Years, 5 Months, 22 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Harrison; a son, John Mason Harrison; a daughter, Marion Alice Harrison; father, Jim Harrison and wife Talana all of Selmer, TN; mother, Diann Russell Harrison of Franklin, TN, a sister, Christa Harrison of Nashville, TN; a brother, Jesse Harrison and wife Felicia of Michie, TN; niece, Mary Katherine Harrison; nephew, James Krew Harrison; father and mother-in-law, Nicky and Rita Casey of Stantonville, TN; sister-in-law, Stephanie Stricklin and husband Marty of Stantonville, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: John and Mary Harrison of Selmer and Robert and Francine Russell of Bethel Springs.
