Willard Ezel Hunt

Willard Ezel Hunt , Waynesboro, TN, was born June 22, 1929 in Florence, AL, a son of the late Albert and Jessie Risner Hunt. Mr. Hunt, a roofer, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee and departed this life, November 13, 2017 at his home at the age of 88 Years, 4 Months, 22 Days.

Survivors, his wife, Jenny Lou Devers Hunt; daughter, Tami Skelton, husband, Weston; brothers, Wilburn Hunt (Jeanne), Nolen Hunt (Verna Mae), Jerry Hunt (Pam), Ricky Hunt (Glenda) and Ronnie Hunt all of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Charlotte Staggs and Pebble Overstreet (Larry), all of Waynesboro, TN, Faye Rich, Collinwood, TN, Alberta Smith, Union City, TN, Sue Quinley of Crockett Mills, TN; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins; dear friends, Chuck and Anettia Buie and his little dog he loved so much, Sugar.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his first wife, Clara Hunt; a son, Stoney Hunt; brothers, Arion, Steve and Bobby Hunt; stepchildren, Sherry Wilson, Donna Hunt, Barbara Mayberry Danny and Mike Rowan; step-grandchildren, Beth Brewer, Jamie Hickman, Vikki and Brittany Clark.

Services will be Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with H.H. Hurst and Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee, Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff, Colton, Chris and Kyle Hunt, Justin Mathis, Jeff Staggs and Jordan and Kenneth Brewer.
