Willard Thomas McMahan

Willard McMahan was born November 24, 1943 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late John Thomas McMahan and Aline Baker McMahan.

Willard retired from General Electric. He was a great rock and brick layer, an avid gardener and a very generous person who loved giving. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandkids.

Mr. McMahan departed this life on August 16, 2020 in Martin, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 8 Months, 23 Days.

He is survived by two sons, John McMahan and wife Christina of Union City, TN, Kevin McMahan and Donna of Selmer, TN; a sister, Lura McMahan Frank of Pocahontas, TN; two brothers, Horice McMahan and wife Joyce of Bethel Springs, TN, Lawrence McMahan and wife Rochelle of Paris, TN; five grandchildren: Angela Nabors, Lori Beth Woods, Heaven McMahan, Reagan McMahan, Jonathan McMahan; five great grandchildren: Liam Nabors, Lily Nabors, Audrey Woods, Iris Woods, Emma Woods.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McMahan was preceded in death by four brothers: Aaron, Travis, Roger and Ernest McMahan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 11 am until service at 1 pm all held at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Selmer, Tennessee. Memorials may be made to McNairy County Humane Society.
