William Kimbro "Kim" aka 'Coon' Turner was born on May 17, 1959 to Rosemary Siler Turner and William "Bill" Turner. William was affectionally known as "Kim" or "Coon" to his friends and family. Kim passed away on Wednesday morning, February 9th at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, MS at the age of 62 years, 8 months and 23 days. Kim was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Siler Turner and his father, William "Bill" Turner and his grandmother, Rose McDaniel Siler and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Knight Turner, his son, Ricky Turner, his daughter, Sherry Evans (Zach), his granddaughter, Kayleigh Turner and several cousins and his best friend since childhood, Keith Raines.
Kim attended the schools in Hardeman County. he went on to receive certification in HVAC and as an electrician from Whiteville Vo-Tech. He then was employed with Hardeman County and retired on April 28, 2017 after 36 years. Afterward he enjoyed hunting, camping and riding the trails of Piney Grove.
