William Larry Frazier, 82, of Saulsbury, departed this life Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Pine Meadows Healthcare Center in Bolivar.
The widower of Jo Ann Frazier, who passed away on June 22, 2020, he worked at John Morrell in Memphis until it closed and then worked at Piggly Wiggly in Memphis. He was born December 3, 1938 in Memphis, son of the late William Luther Frazier and Eunice Evelyn Lauderdale Frazier and moved to this area in 1988. He served in the Air National Guard and enjoyed golfing, dancing and watching westerns on television. He met his wife, Jo Ann, while dancing, and the two were married on November 4, 1976. Mr. Frazier was Baptist in faith.
Survivors include his children, Joanna Tramm (John) of Milwaukee, WI, Dawna Sprague of Cudahy, WI, Cheryl Frazier of Escanaba, MI, Bill Frazier (Leigh Anne) of Memphis, Mona Brown-Davis (Sam) of Decaturville, TN and Charles Brown of Saulsbury; a half sister, Edith Williams of Florida; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a half brother, Edward Frazier. Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to the ASPCA (www.aspca.org/donate).
