William Edward (Shooby) Shubert of Iron City, TN was born September 4, 1970 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of Shirley Ann Moser Shubert of Waynesboro, TN, who survives and the late James William Shubert.
Mr. Shubert made leather cadillac seats for Adient and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Shubert departed this life on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 50 Years, 11 Months, 18 Days.
Other than his mother, he is survived by his son, Jimmy Shubert of Collinwood, TN; his sister, Kymberlie Alvarez and husband, Ralfael of Waynesboro, TN; his step-father, Bill Wenger of Waynesboro, TN; three nieces; two nephews; several cousins and special friends that were closer than brothers, Kevin McCaddon and Ralfael Alvarez.
In addition to his father, Mr. Shubert was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Kephart Dixon.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Johnny Kilburn and Jim David Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Visitation will be Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 11 am to service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Risner, Johnny Paul Risner, Benny Thrasher, Greg Thrasher, Kyle Millikan and David Reaves.
Due to the surge in Covid, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and/or service wear a facial covering and practice social distancing.
