WILLIE MAE CROWDER
Henderson, TN: Willie Mae Vanhoose Crowder age 96 passed away Wednesday May 29, 2019 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 19, 1922 at Saltillo, the daughter of the late Carol and Ida Mae Alexander Vanhoose. She graduated high school at Saltillo. She married Carl Crowder. They made their home in Henderson. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Western State Mental Hospital in Bolivar. She had also worked at Salant & Salant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Crowder is survived by a son, Paul Crowder of Henderson and a daughter, Anita Stout of Henderson; a grandchild and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Neal and Buster Vanhoose.
Her burial will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Henderson City Cemetery. There will be no visitation or service.
