Willie Emmons was born November 12, 1936 in McNairy County , TN the son of the late Marshal and Alcia Knight Emmons.
He was united in marriage to Loretta Hurley on September 18, 1957.
Mr. Emmons worked in construction laying pipe line. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Michie, Tennessee. He enjoyed gardening and quail hunting.
Mr. Emmons departed this life on May 12, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 6 Months. He is survived by his wife Loretta Emmons of Michie, TN; a son, Shannon Emmons and wife Sue of Guys, TN; three grandchildren, Shay Emmons and wife Bianca of Adamsville, TN, Shayna Roy and husband Luke of Stantonville, TN, Samantha Wilson and husband Casey of Ramer, TN; four great grandchildren, Shayla, Isabella, Victoria, and Amelia Emmons; two brothers, Stanley Emmons of Memphis, TN, Keith Emmons of Michie, TN; two sisters, Inus Sanders of Corinth, MS, Sue Sanders and husband Horace of Michie, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
