WINDELL JOE “BUSTER” BESHIRES
Henderson, TN: Windell Joe Beshires age 82 passed away Friday morning, October 12, 2018 at his home.
He was born May 5, 1936 in Chester County, in the Silerton community, the son of the late John Adams and Rona Magdalene Roland Beshires. He attended school at Phillips School House and married Ossie Mae Ruth in 1962. They made their home in Henderson. He worked for thirty-eight years with Goodyear Tire & Rubber, retiring as manager of the South Highland location. He was Co-owner of Four Way Flower Shop with his wife and Bobby and Judy Ruth. They retired from Four Way in 2012.
He loved fishing and supporting his grandchildren in their sporting activities. He enjoyed “cutting up” with his friends and always had candy for the young children. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Beshires is survived by his wife, Ossie Mae Ruth Beshires and two sons, Windell Allen Beshires and wife Mary and Johnny Wayne Beshires and wife Tammi all of Henderson; grandchildren, Megan (Drew) Cook, Rebecca (Hunter) Faulkner, Bailee Beshires, April (Nick) Phillips and Jacob Beshires; great grandchildren, Aiden & Carter Seaton, Trace Cook, Lane, Brycen and Lila Faulkner and Sadie Phillips; a brother, Jerry Beshires of Henderson; two sisters, Faye Crouse and Sandra Lott all of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, J.L., Clyde, Haven, Wayne, Johnny, Cornis, Larry and Bobby Beshires and a sister, Louise Cloud.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 15, 2018 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Henderson City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday.
