Wyley Hunt was born July 1, 1938 in Waterloo, Alabama, the son of the late Charles Rebel and Bessie Mayflower Highland Hunt.
Wyley was an electrician for 20 years at General Electric in Selmer, Tennessee. He had also worked in maintenance at Parris Manufacturing Company.
He served his country proudly in the United States National Guard, and in his spare time he enjoyed repairing bicycles and lawn mowers.
He departed this life on March 31, 2022 in Counce, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 8 Months, 30 Days.
He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Forsythe and her husband David of Selmer, Tennessee and Tina Jones of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Steve Hunt of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Joshua Forsythe and his wife Jada, Casey Forsythe and his girlfriend Stephanie, Whitney Walls and her husband Matt, Ryan Davis, Hannah Pierson and her husband Daniel, Steven Hunt and his girlfriend Anna, Justin Hunt and his wife Kellie, Haley Gilley and her husband Joe, Samantha Jones, and Kelsey Jones; and great grandchildren, Elijah Forsythe, Ezra Forsythe, Elizabeth Forsythe, Hunter Walls, Laklyn Hunt, Everly Hunt, Roan Gilley, and Olivia Gilley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter in law, Sherry Hunt; brother, Emory Hunt; and a great granddaughter, Ava Hunt.
