WYNETH ‘WINNIE’ WATKINS
Henderson, TN: Wyneth Mae Rouse Watkins age 83, passed away February 15, 2022 at the Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 10, 1939 in Henderson, the daughter of the late John Edgar and Ruby Ethel Dyer Rouse. She attended Chester County Schools. She married Billy Morris Watkins.
She had been a seamstress at various garment industries in Henderson, and had worked Mid-South Textiles for thirty years, after retirement she lived in Henderson, where she enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading especially the Bible. She was a believer in the Lord Jesus and new rest with him.
Mrs. Watkins is survived by two sons, Daryl Watkins (Talissa) of Henderson and Stephen Watkins (Sheila) of Henderson; seven grandchildren; a brother, Clyde Rouse of Henderson and a son-in-law, Michael Brasher of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Elizabeth Watkins Brasher and two sisters, Martha Jo Willis in 2021 and Lois Cowan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 19th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Shane Connor officiating.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday.
