Zachary Hargett, 24, of Walnut, MS, departed this life Thursday, October 3, 2019 in Memphis.
Memorial services are Monday, October 7 at Chalybeate Baptist Church. The time has not yet been set.
A native of DeSoto County, Mississippi, he was born November 7, 1994 and worked in the warehouse of Great Neck Saw for the past 2 years. He had worked at Conn's in San Antonio, Texas for a year and a half prior. He was a 2013 graduate of Canyon High School in New Braunsfels, Texas and had lived in this area since 2017. He married the former Kirstine Muirhead on August 19, 2015 and enjoyed working with tools and on cars.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, who was his whole world, Amber, of Walnut; his parents, Tim and Becki Williams of Walnut, MS; a sister, Emma Williams of Walnut; two brothers, Nick Williams of Destin, FL and Mike Williams of Walnut; his father & mother in law, Jeff & Christina Cimics of LaVernia, TX; his maternal grandmother, Debbie McCann of Walnut; his paternal grandparents, Ken & Debby Williams of Walnut; and numerous brother and sister in laws, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alvin McCann, and an infant child they never got to hold, baby Blake Hargett. Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
