Aaron Lester

Aaron Lester was born in Hereford, Texas on December 28, 1952, the son of the late Ruben Jesse and Dossie Dee Benson Lester.

Aaron worked as a forklift driver for Rosers Sawmill. He was an active member of the Southern Wayne County Wagon Club.  In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, camping, wagon riding, working with his mules, and spending time with his cherished grandchildren. Aaron loved traveling to Panther Creek in Lauderdale County, Alabama, where he would spend many nights camping. 

Aaron departed this life on Thursday, January 11, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 71 years, and 14 days.

He is survived by his children, Starlet Benson, Jessica Benson and her husband Robert, and Ruben Lester, all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Nakia Benson, Kavan Benson, Lane Benson, Destiny Benson, Wyatt Benson, and Angel Handing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Lester.
