Acie Andrew Flowers

Acie Andrew Flowers was born October 11, 1940 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Henry and Gladys Smith Flowers.On March 24, 1978, he was united in marriage to Sue Wilson who survives.Mr. Flowers worked in Quality Control at General Electric for 30 years. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee. Mr. Flowers was an avid gardener. He enjoyed spending time with his church family, traveling, fishing, hunting and NASCAR.Mr. Flowers departed this life on January 11, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 3 Months. He is survived by his wife Sue (Wilson) Flowers of Selmer, TN; five daughters, Stacy Kropp and husband David of Killeen, TX, Donna Smith and husband Kevin of Simpsonville, SC, Melissa Shoaf and husband Forrest of Nashville, TN, Jimmie Sue Black of Selmer, TN, and Valerie Jones and husband Mike of Nashville, TN; ten grandchildren, Brandy Mayfield, Jessica Mayfield, Amber Smith, Andrew Smith, Jacob Wigginton, Hunter Wigginton, Ansley Wigginton, Elizabeth Nash, Brayden Jones, and Ella Jones; and a sister, Mary Jane Estes of Selmer, TN.In addition to his parents, Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Flowers.
