Adley Hardin was born on February 14, 1936 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late Tom Hassell and Hattie Mae Ferrell Hardin.
On January 3, 1957, he was united in marriage to Charlie Mae Dedrick, who preceded her husband in death on November 6, 2016. During their younger years, they enjoyed going to look for arrowheads together.
Mr. Hardin worked as a truck driver for River City Concrete. He liked to go fishing and was a member of Clifton Presbyterian Church.
Adley Hardin departed this life on May 29, 2025 in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 89 years, 3 months, and 15 days.
He is survived by his daughter in law, Tommie Plunkett; sisters, Blanche Warren and Katherine Ray; granddaughter, Taylor Rae Plunkett White; nephews, Tim Hardin and Rick Hardin; nieces, Pat Mathis, Kelly Jenkins, Tina Norman, and Pam Hardin; and sister in law, Betty Hardin.
In addition to his wife and parents, Adley was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Ray Hardin and brothers, Hassell Hardin and Billy Hardin.
