Alan W. Evans departed this life on Monday, August 27, 2018, at the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 6 days. He was born in Troy, New York on June 21, 1948, the son of the late Walter and Betty Purnell Evans. On December 14, 1991, he was united in marriage to Lynda Ennis, who survives.
Alan worked part-time at Lowe's in Savannah, Tennessee and previously worked as an account executive for Dell Computer Corp. He was a member of Waypoint Community Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In addition to his wife, Lynda of 27 years, he is survived by a daughter, Lesa McPherson and her husband Scott of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Melissa McPherson, Allyson McPherson, Brooklyn McPherson, Blake McPherson, and Mason McPherson; and a sister, Nancy Johnson of Palm City, Florida.
Alan was a donor with Tennessee Donor Association of Nashville, Tennessee.
