Albert David Ashe
was born in Selmer, Tennessee on September 21, 1948 the son of Mildred Boyd Ashe and the late Albert D. Ashe.
Mr. Ashe received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Memphis in 1971. On March 2, 1973 he was united in marriage to the former Margaret Ann Cochran, who survives. He had worked at Procter and Gamble, Reynolds Metals and lastly, at Wise Alloys, L.L.C. in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where he was an electrical engineer. Mr. Ashe was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee, of which he was a former Elder. He was also a 4-H volunteer and a Hardin County High School Band Booster.
He departed this life on February 16, 2007 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 58 years, 4 months and 26 days.
Mr. Ashe is survived by his wife, Margaret Ashe, of Savannah, Tennessee;
a son, James Lee Ashe of Savannah and a student at Union University; his mother, Mildred Ashe of Selmer, Tennessee and a brother, Ron Ashe of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Whit and Nora Ashe and his maternal grandparents, David and Pauline Boyd.
