Albert Funk departed this life on Friday, August 14, 2015, at the age of 90 years, 5 months, 17 days. He was born in Cutler, Ohio on February 28, 1925, the son of the Albert and Edith Campbell Funk.
Albert was a metal worker with Aero-Lite for 35 years and a veteran of the Navy. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, and the honor guard member of the VFW. He enjoyed square dancing and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Donita Bean of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Diane Mellon of Belpre, Ohio, Deloris Bailey of Deplains, Ohio, and Dennis Funk of Cutler, Ohio; sister, Francis Kenney of Marietta, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; companion, Doris Jackson of Saltillo, Tennessee; and Taylor Jackson of Saltillo, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Sealy Funk; sister, Faye Fleming; brother, James Funk; and great grandchild, Danielle Church.
