Albert Pettigrew was born on August 1, 1942 in Shiloh, Tennessee, the son of the late Eber Thetus and Vestal Rodgers Pettigrew.
On August 7, 1965, he was united in marriage to Ann Dickerson, who survives.
Albert was a plant manager for a boat company in Mexico. He was a member of Mount Vinson Methodist Church. Alberts favorite thing in the world was to fish especially at Ocracoke Island, North Carolina.
Albert Pettigrew departed this life on March 19, 2024 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 81 years, 7 months, and 18 days.
He is survived by his wife Ann Pettigrew of Adamsville, Tennessee; son, Duke Matlock (Kelley) of Orlando, Florida; daughters, Peggy Smallwood (Steve) of Chandler, Arizona, Penney Neverez (Victor) El Paso, Texas, and Pam Hovey (Todd) of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by eight siblings.
