Mrs. Davis passed away Saturday evening at Pine Meadows Healthcare Center in Bolivar.



The wife of Henry C. Davis, who survives, she was a homemaker and former substitute teacher for many years. She was born to Tommie T. and Amelia Ferge Robbins, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a member of Parks Chapel Methodist Church where she worked with the UMW.



In addition to her husband, whom she married on July 29, 1939, survivors include a daughter and her husband, Shirley and Paul Stokes of Hickory Withe; two sons and their wives, Murray & Cecelia Davis and Terry & Kathy Davis, all of Somerville; three sisters, Tommy Godwin of Many, La., Sue Conner and Pauline Wright, both of Somerville; a brother, Oscar Robbins of Bolivar; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infants.
