Alfred Smith departed this life on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the age of 81 years, 10 months, and 13 days. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 20, 1939, the son of the late Harry and Doris Molder Smith.
Alfred had been a member of the National Guard and worked for Hollins Well Drilling as a deep well driller. He moved to Hardin County, Tennessee around 1993 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Counce, Tennessee where he sang in the church choir. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved racing and at one time was a race car driver.
Alfred Smith is survived by his children, Andrea Harris of Counce, Tennessee, Tina Smith of LaVergne, Tennessee, and Michael Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Richard Lee Harris and Josh King; great grandchildren, Liem, Emmy, and Sophia King; brothers, Jim Smith of Branson, Missouri and Tommy Smith; and sister, Roberta Smith of Denver, Colorado.
In addition to his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Smith.
