Alice Mae Likes

Alice Mae Likes of Selmer, Tennessee was born on March 29, 1922 to the late Arlie and Martha Arizona Henson Ray. She was united in marriage to Virgil M. Likes on September 26, 1959. Mr. Ray preceded her in death on December 9, 2006. She was retired from ITT and was a homemaker.Mrs. Likes departed this life on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in Selmer at the age of 88 years, 3 months, and 8 days.She is survived by two sons, Larry McCullar and wife Syble and Rickey Likes and wife Diane, both of Selmer; four grandchildren, Tammy Faulkner, Deborah Leggett, David McCullar, Rocky McCullar; two step-grandchildren, Chasity Rickman, Brandy Rickman; six great-grandchildren, Tiffany Caldwell, Scott Hurley, Katie Hurley, Hunter McCullar, Kyle Faulkner, Jeremiah McCullar;a great-great-grandchild, Austyn Caldwell; a sister, Linda Gail Hurst of Horn Lake, Mississippi; a brother, Oneal Ray of Ramer, Tennessee. A host of other relatives and friends.Other than her husband and parents, Mrs. Likes was also preceded in death by a son, Roy McCullar, and three brothers, Joe, Billy, and Charlie Ray.
