Allen Michael Exum

Allen Michael Exum, (Mike) of Selmer was born on Feb. 16th, 1950 in Valdosta, Ga. Mike passed away on July 27, 2023 in Selmer, TN.
Mike was a teacher for the McNairy County Board of Education for 48 years. Mike loved his family, teaching, coaching, and college football. He was a member of the Sulphur Springs Methodist Church.
Mike was preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 51 years,
Debbie, his father, Jerry Donald Exum, his mother, Alfreda Kretchmeir, and one beloved brother, Larry Mehr and wife Phyllis of Henderson, TN. Mike is survived by 2 sons, Jeffery Allen Exum and wife Angie of Selmer, TN, Jason Thomas Exum and wife Melissa of Adamsville. Mike also leaves four wonderful grandchildren, Tyler Leitschuh, Alexander, Julie, and Emma Exum.
Mike leaves two brothers, Donald Exum and wife Pat of Selmer, TN. Jerry Exum and Sandy of Rockingham, N.C. and a step brother, Vern Mehr and wife Vina of Bethel Springs, TN.
