Henderson: Allene Holley Johnson, age 101, died Friday July 6, 2018 at Henderson Health Care.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Chester County, the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Ellen Carroll Holley. She married Bonnie Johnson in 1946. They made their home east of Jacks Creek. Mrs. Johnson worked 29 years in the garment industry at local factories. Mr. Johnson preceded in death April 16, 1998. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Unity Baptist Church. She loved the church and enjoyed quilting with the Unity quilting ladies.

She is survived by two grandsons; Brandon Nash of Reagan and Mark Nash of Morris Chapel, and a great grandchild Skylar Nash.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Wanda Jeannette Nash, a sister Ruth Richardson and two brothers; Raymond Holley and Earl Holley.
