Allie Coker

Allie (Kitty) Cokerwas born in Little Yazoo, Mississippi on April 20, 1923 the daughter of the late Harley Hood and Mary Martin Hood Saxton.On November 20, 1945 she was united in marriage to Lawrence T. Coker, who preceded her in death on October 4, 1983.Mrs. Coker was a former resident of Mobile, Alabama, Savannah, Tennessee and Germantown, Tennessee. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Savannah, Tennessee and Wicklow Garden Club of Germantown, Tennessee.Mrs. Coker departed this life on January 2, 2011 at the age of 87 years, 8 months, 13 days.Mrs. Coker is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou Easter and husband Jeff of Germantown, Tennessee; a son, Larry A. Coker and wife Marion of Jackson, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Allen Coker, Starla Coker, Jay Easter, Todd Easter, and Michael Easter; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Richards Saxton of Benton, Mississippi; a brother, William Toombs of Benton, Mississippi.In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Madis Hood Richards and a granddaughter, Chastiy Coker.
