Allie Highers

ALLIE HIGHERSHenderson, TN: Allie Faire Jenkins Highers, age 102, passed away December 17, 2009 at the Chester County Healthcare.She was born and reared in Hoffman, OK the daughter of the late Robert and Susan Benefield Jenkins. She attended schools in Hitchita, OK. She was married to Ernest E. Highers in 1934. Mr. Highers was a Church of Christ Minister, and they made their home in different places including, Haskell, OK, Fort Smith, AR, Clovis, NM, Lebanon, TN, Hereford, TX and Ozark, AR. They retired in 1984 and moved to Henderson, TN. Mr. Highers died in 1989. She was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ. She taught Ladies Bible Classes at every place they lived. She is survived by two sons, Judge Alan E. Highers and wife Sandra and David Highers and wife Charlotte all of Henderson, TN and four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
