ALLIE FAYE SHEFFIELD
Finger, TN: Allie Faye Patterson Sheffield, age 76 passed away Saturday morning January 16, 2016 at her home.
She was born July 27, 1939 in Chester County, the Old Friendship Road Community, the daughter of the late James Oberd and Estell Morton Patterson. She attended Chester County Schools and in 1956 married James Everette Sheffield. They made their home in the Old Friendship Community. She worked at Neo Products for over twenty-five years. She was a member of the Little Hatchie Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sheffield is survived by four sisters, Elvie Lee Sanders of Henderson, Ann Harty of Pinson, Ellna Roland of Pinson and Barbara Smith of Bartlett and two brothers, James L. Patterson of Finger and Charles Patterson of Pekin, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rodney Lynn Sheffield in 1978; her husband, James Everette Sheffield in 2013; a twin brother, Ray Patterson and two sisters, Arvie Bishop and Veda Hailey.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday January 20, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Steve Leggette and Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 11:00 AM Wednesday until service time at 2:00 PM Wednesday.
