Allie "Lorene" Wilkerson

Allie "Lorene" Wilkerson was born on March 7, 1935 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Samuel and Belle McConnell Copeland.

On November 5, 1950, she was united in marriage to James Wilkerson, who preceded his wife in death on August 1, 2020.

Lorene was raised in the Burnt Church Community in Hardin County. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and often volunteered at Hardin County Jesus Cares. She enjoyed spending time outdoors going fishing and camping. Lorene loved taking her grandchildren on trips to Bluegrass Festivals.

Allie "Lorene" Wilkerson departed this life on September 14, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 90 years, 6 months, and 7 days.

She is survived by her daughters, Faye Russom and Dianne Jarrett, both of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Roger Wilkerson of Houston, Texas and Ricky Wilkerson and Ray Wilkerson, both of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Maxine Alexander of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brandon Shiver, Christelle Lowery, Rickey Arnold, Adrienne Wilkerson, Samuel Wilkerson, Kimberly White, Jacob Wilkerson, Timothy Brenot, Tabitha Brenot, and Hunter Brenot; and a host of great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Lorene was preceded in death by her daughters, Mary Shiver and Sandra Rich; infant brother, Edwin Copeland; and brothers, Robert Copeland, Parker Copeland, and Herschel Copeland.
