Alma Rilla Bullard

Alma Rilla Wynn Bullard, Collinwood, TN, was born October 9, 1917 in Nectar, Alabama, the daughter of the late Felton and Mary Rhoda Adcock Wynn. She was united in marriage to Carter Bullard on November 5, 1938 and he preceded her in death on February 14, 1980.



Mrs. Bullard was a homemaker and a member of the Nectar Baptist Church in Nectar, Alabama.



Mrs. Bullard departed this life on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at her home in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 10 Months, 23 Days.



She is survived by daughter, Dianne Dixon, Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Robbie Bircheat and wife, Julie, Teresa Pack and husband, Barry, Marty Bircheat, Brian Wilson and wife, Allison, Matthew Wilson, Jacob Dixon, Jessup Dixon, Wendy Wilson Hall and husband, Tony; great grandchildren, Sydney Bircheat, Celton Bircheat, Ciera Wilson, Madison Wilson, Brylee Wilson, Aly Wilson, Gage Hall; a host of nieces and nephews.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bullard was preceded in death by son, Jerry Bullard; daughter, Glenda Claburn; granddaughter, Camelia Bircheat; a great-grandchild, Noah Hill-Wilson.



Services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Nectar Baptist Church in Nectar, Alabama, with Mike Murphree officiating. Burial will be in the Nectar Cemetery with Blount County Funeral Home, Cleveland, AL directing and Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of local arrangements. Pallbearers will be Robbie and Marty Bircheat, Brian and Matthew Wilson, Jacob and Jessup Dixon. Honorary pallbearers will be Celton Bircheat and Gage Hall. Visitation will be Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, TN and Friday, September 3, 2010 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Blount County Funeral Home in Cleveland, AL.
