Alma Dee Phillips

Alma Dee Phillips was born April 20, 1920 in Guys, TN the daughter of the late Henry and Seany Mitchell Cooksey.

She was united in marriage to Arthur Phillips on January 8, 1938. Mr. Phillips preceded her in death on June 6, 2012. They were married for 73 years.

Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker She was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church. She and Mr. Phillips owned and operated A. C. Phillips Grocery in Eastview, TN for 20 years. She dearly loved her family.

Mrs. Phillips departed this life on November 8, 2015 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 95 Years, 6 Months, 19 Days. She is survived by a son, Tommy Phillips of Ramer, TN; and a host of neices, nephews and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by four sisters, Myrtle Moore, Mable Faires, Dora Mae Miller, Mary Emma Overton; two brothers, Floyd and Taft Cooksey.
