Alta Mae Stricklin was born on May 3, 1935 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Walter Lee and Bertha Mae Brown Stricklin.
Alta was a member of the FCE Club and Abrams Chapel Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She loved her family and was always concerned about everyone. She liked to stay busy and enjoyed sewing, especially baby quilts.
Alta Mae Stricklin departed this life on October 2, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 4 months, and 29 days.
She is survived by her brother, Jerry Walter Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee and sister, Linda Jane Abrams of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Alta was preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie Ray Stricklin and her brother in law, Kenneth Abrams.
