Alton Wayne Morris was born on June 26, 1968 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, the son of the late George and Barbara Marie Templete Morris.
He was employed with Design Team Sign Company in Savannah, Tennessee, where he worked as an electrician.
He enjoyed going fishing.
Alton departed this life on March 16, 2016 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 47 years, 8 months, and 19 days.
He is survived by his former wife Tammy White of Savannah, Tennessee;
His son, Robert Wayne Morris of Savannah, Tennessee;
His daughter, Samantha Jean Marie Morris of Savannah, Tennessee;
One brother, Todd Cote of Michie, Tennessee;
One sister, Shelle Cote of Memphis, Tennessee;
and his granddaughter, Ember Morris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanna Marie Morris.
