Amos Kennedy

Amos Fay Kennedy, age 84 passed away March 1, 2013.Mr. Kennedy was born and reared in Chester County, the son of the late John Alfred and Ida Lee Snider Kennedy. He attended school in Chester County. He married Norma Wood in 1955 and they made their home in Chester County. He began driving a Taxi in 1953 and retired in 2000. He had driven a Taxi for 47 years. He was a Baptist in belief.Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife Norma Wood Kennedy of Henderson,a sister in law Olliedean Kennedy of Henderson and niece Shirley Gaddy of Henderson.He was preceded in death by a brother Clifford Kennedy.Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel and burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson ChapelHenderson, TN731-989-2614
