Mr. McNeely departed this life on Sunday evening, December 11th, at Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, MS.
He was born in Bolivar, the amazing son to George and Bobbie Hodge McNeely on October 8, 1964 and lived all his life in Walnut, MS. He was a 1982 graduate of Walnut High School and worked as a truck driver. His last employment was with Miller Truck out of Middleton. Mr. McNeely served in the US Army.
He definitely lived every day to his fullest! He would fish and hunt everyday, if it was possible. Disking, plowing and bush hogging his land were chores but, he enjoyed them all. He also was an expert when it came to raising tomatoes. The largest he ever grew was two pounds in weight. Cooking and bar-be-queing for friends and family was a favorite pastime, as well.
He was brother to Melissa (James) Hall of Booneville, MS and Wayne McNeely of Walnut; Dad to Joshua Wyman (Kasey) of Middleton; Paw-Paw to three grandchildren, Aidan, Colton and Taylor; uncle to one nephew, five nieces, five great-nephews and five great-nieces; and leaves behind a host of friends he was very close to.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Grover Cleveland and Fannie Marie Hodge.
