Angela Kennedy Bath, 69, of Walnut, MS, departed her earthly life on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS.
Born in Memphis, she was the daughter of the late Travis and Barbara Dukes Kennedy. Angela lived in Collierville for 25 years before returning to this area to live in Walnut three years ago. On December 26, 1977, she married David Bath, who survives.
In addition to her husband of nearly 48 years, she leaves two sons, Anthony James Bath of Middleton and Daniel Travis Bath of Tupelo; a daughter, Amy Elizabeth (Paul) Southard of Maui, Hawaii; two sisters, Chris K. Thompson of Middleton and Lisa (Kerry) Ray of Paris, TN; and a brother, Jon (Laura) Kennedy of Middleton.
Angela served as a Christian Counselor for Central Church in Collierville and continued her passionate work as a counselor upon moving to Walnut. She received her master's degree from Harding School of Theology and also worked many years with AGAPE Child and Family Services. She and her husband, David, were foster parents for AGAPE and became adoptive parents, as well. She was a virtual member of Cornerstone Church of Leesburg, VA and had formerly been active in mission work in England, Trinidad, Tobago and the Pacific Northwest. An avid reader, she loved time spent reading and studying the Bible.
