Angela Denise Yancey

Angela Denise Yancey was born June 18, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of Leo Ralph and Marjorie Kay Henson Gage.



She was united in marriage to Wes Yancey on August 18, 2006.



Mrs. Yancey had formerly worked for Brown Shoe Company and Home Banking Company, both in Selmer, TN. She retired as a production technician for General Electric, also in Selmer. Mrs. Yancey was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, and she enjoyed many hobbies, including gardening, sewing, and making jewelry.



Mrs. Yancey departed this life on September 27, 2010 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 53 Years, 3 Months, 9 Days. She is survived by her husband Wes Yancey of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Shaun Mullins and wife Amy of Bethel Springs, TN; a step-son, Jamie Yancey of Selmer, TN; a step-daughter, Mary Logan Yancey of Selmer, TN; her parents, Ralph and Kay Gage of Bethel Springs, TN; two grandchildren, Tyler and Ethan Mullins, both of Bethel Springs, TN; two sisters, Mary Gage of Vermilion, OH and Andrea Schmedes and husband Jim of Cordova, TN; a brother, Jeff Gage and wife Kathie Costigan-Gage of Columbus, OH; two nieces, Mandy Gage of Columbus, OH and McKenna Schmedes of Cordova, TN; a nephew, Carson Schmedes of Cordova, TN; and many extended family and friends.
