Mrs. Barrett passed away Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
A native of Whiteville, she was the daughter of James and Grace Alice Wynne Kelley. She graduated from Whiteville High School and spent most of her life in Memphis. She was employed as a secretary for Carty & Co. in Memphis, was an animal lover and enjoyed interior decorating.
She leaves two sons, Donal M. Alphin, Jr. of Horn Lake, MS and Patrick K. Alphin of Paragould, AR; a sister, Gail Limming of Mesa, AZ and a brother, Gene Augustine of Hesperia, CA; four grandchildren Savannah Grace, Micah, Chris and Wesley Alphin; two great-grandchildren Alaya and Annastyn Alphin.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace McReynolds and a son, Brian Keith Alphin.
