Ann Jacobs

Mrs. Jacobs passed from this life on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at her home. She was the widow of Mr. Walter Norris Jacobs, Sr. and lived most all of her life in Hardeman County. Mr. Jacobs died on Friday, May 10, 2019 following 63 years of marriage.

A dollmaker and artist, she operated a craft shop in Hornsby and was member of Hatchie Baptist Church. Mrs. Jacobs was a 1956 graduate of Bolivar Central High School and had also lived in Texas for a year while her husband was in the military.

She is survived by her son J. R. Jacobs of Hornsby. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron Woodrow and Mattie Lou Tigner Jernigan.

While visiting or attending services for Mrs. Jacobs, please consider the following guidelines:
* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
