Ann Jennings departed this life on Monday, February 6, 2017, at the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 14 days. She was born in Savannah, Tennessee on February 23, 1934, the daughter of the late Elting and Agnes Williams Wilkes. On August 5, 1956, she was united in marriage to Joe Dewitt Jennings, who survives.

Ann was a homemaker and a member of the Savannah Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joe Dewitt Jennings of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Gary Dewitt Jennings of Clifton, Tennessee and Joe Keith Jennings of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Justin Jennings of Savannah, Tennessee, Corey Jennings of Ardmore, Alabama, Brandi Jennings of Clifton, Tennessee; great-granddaughter, Alivia Jennings of Savannah, Tennessee; and brothers, Jimmy Wilkes of Savannah, Tennessee and Joe Wilkes of Humboldt, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Thompson and twin brother, Edwin Fay Wilkes.
