Elizabeth Ann Washburn Lambert was born May 8, 1943 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of the late Samuel C. Washburn and Arbie Pearson Washburn. She graduated from Ramer High School as Valedictorian class of 1961. She was united in marriage to Phillip Lambert on June 24, 1966. She worked at Security Bank in Corinth, MS. Later she became a travel agent and loved it!
Ann had an adventurous spirit. She enjoyed traveling the world with her family and friends. She had the opportunity to visit 42 countries, on 4 Continents, half of Canada and Mexico, and every state in the United States. She sailed on 32 cruises and her favorite one by far was a Baltic Cruise. Her favorite place in the world to visit was Magens Bay, St. Thomas.
Ann was a member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Ramer, Tennessee. She loved her church family and helping out at church. She was an out going person who cherished her family.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Lambert of Ramer, TN; two sons, John Lambert and wife Marci of South Thomaston, Maine, Mark Lambert and wife Amy of Guys, TN; a brother, Rev. Sam Washburn and wife Linda of Amory, MS; four grandchildren: Margret and Audrey Lambert, Jacob Johnson and Joseph Lambert; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
