Ann Elizabeth Poole

Ann Elizabeth Poole was born in Savannah, Tennessee on May 1, 1928 the daughter of Kendrick Broyles and Ruth Jones Barlow.On November 9, 1946 she was united in marriage to Vernon Ancil Poole, who preceded her in death on January 4, 1969.Mrs. Poole was a Secretary for Welch Insurance Agency for 30 years. She loved playing golf, bowling, bridge, and watching sports on TV. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Savannah and a member of the choir.Mrs. Poole departed this life on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the age of 83 years, 3 months, 12 days.She is survived by a daughter, Linda Poole Austin and husband Tony of Collierville, Tennessee; a son, Michael Bruce Poole and wife Connie of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Whitney Jordan, Ken Brashier and Lacey Brashier; 3 great grandchildren, Ellie Jordan, Drew Brashier and Madison Brashier; a brother, Col. Kendrick Barlow, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Matthew Jordan.
