Anna Anderson was born November 11, 1925 in McNairy County, TN. The daughter of the late Albert H. and Mae H. Clayton.
She was united in marriage to Frank Anderson in 1948. Mr. Anderson preceded her in death on October 28, 2000.
She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Selmer, Tennessee. She retired from the ASCS office after 23 years and retired again from Selmer Bank and Trust after 10 years. She served 10 plus years for the Ladies Auxiliary (Pink Ladies) at McNairy County General Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson was an exceptional artist and an incredible cook. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, serving others and loved her family.
She departed this life on June 18, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 94 Years, 7 Months, 7 Days.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by two sons, Alan Anderson and wife Debbie of Huntsville, AL, Marcus (Marc) Anderson and wife Shelia of Savannah, TN; two brothers, John David Clayton and wife Frances, Billy Clayton and wife Mary all of Bethel Springs, TN; sister-in-law, Judy Clayton of Bethel Springs, TN; five grandchildren: Brent Anderson and wife Shannon of Savannah, TN, Jett Hendrix and husband Matt of Huntsville, AL, Clay Anderson of New York, NY, Mindy Linam and husband Jeff of Selmer, TN, Cherish Creason and husband Kerry of Savannah, TN; seven great grandchildren: Summer Hendrix, Colby Hendrix, Ethan Sanders, Aiyana Sanders, Janna Franks, Mary Katherine Kadar, Nick Anderson; and a host nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a son, Bill Anderson; daughter-in-law, Edith Anderson; a grandchild, Tanner Anderson; silbings: Marie Collie, Murray Clayton, Hoyt Clayton, Jewel Lynch, Willie Albert Garner, Gayle Clayton.
