Anna Louise Ross
was born in Henderson County, Tennessee on November 12, 1932, the daughter of the late C. L. and Louise Hall Green.
On December 16, 1950, she was united in marriage to Arthur A. Ross, Jr., who preceded his wife in death on October 17, 2014.
Mrs. Ross had worked for H.I.S. Manufacturing in Saltillo, Tennessee, and worked in bookkeeping at Tri County Nursing Home and Hardin Home Nursing Home. She was a member for 80 years at New Prospect Baptist Church in the Hookers Bend Community. Mrs. Ross was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a dedicated Christian who told about Jesus Christ to everyone she met. Mrs. Ross prayed for lists of people daily and loved God with her whole heart.
She departed this life on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 5 months, and 24 days.
Mrs. Ross is survived by her two children, Nancy Ross Wyatt (Robert) of Quincy, Illinois, and David A. Ross (Charlotte); grandchildren, Jennifer Channell (David), and Robert Ross, all of the Hookers Bend community, and Lara Wyatt of Chesterfield, Missouri; great grandchildren, Ashley Pipes (Savyon) of Savannah, Tennessee, Kailee Channell of Nashville, Tennessee, and Aubrey DeWitt of Frisco, Texas; and one brother, John Green of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Coy Green and Charlie Green; and five sisters, Margaret Pinkley, Ruth Massengill, Mary Smith, Jewel Williams, and Susan Green.
