Annie Virginia Gibson, 95, of Toone departed this life on September 24, 2009 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of Martin Enloe Gibson, who died August 8, 1985, Mrs. Gibson was born in Hardeman County August 14, 1914 to the late William and Rita Derrington Irwin. She was a homemaker that spent all her life here and attended Bolivar First Baptist Church.
She leaves as her survivors two daughters, Katie Orelia Williams of Phoenix, AZ, Brenda Lee Young of Toone, TN; a son, Steven Gibson of Toone, TN; two sisters, Roberta Bryant of Bolivar and Rita Jean McCommons of Marshall, TX; 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by two daughters, Winnifred (Gibson) Siler and Catherine Inez Hayley.
