Annie Ruth Wallis Smith

Annie Ruth Hensley Wallis Smith was born March 15, 1941 in Alcorn County, MS the daughter of the late Mike and Blan McCalister Hensley.
She was a life long member of Butlers Chapel Baptist Church. She loved gardening and working with her flowers. Annie believed, the most important things in life to her, were her family and friends. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Smith departed this life on September 20, 2012 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 6 Months, 5 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Wallis Smith of Savannah, TN; two sons, Andy Wallis and wife Melody of Corinth, MS, Adam Wallis of Ramer, TN; step children, Michael, Debra, Randy and Tim Smith all of Bethel Springs, TN; two sisters, Neoma Pearson and husband Lynn of Eastview, TN, Lavonne Monroe and husband Danny of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, Russell Hensley and wife Carolyn of Ramer, TN; eight grandchildren, Amber Nicole Childress Rutledge, Kristy Ann Wallis, Jonathan Michael Clifton Childress, William Kasey Wallis, Benjamin Guy Wallis, Sarah Grace Wallis, Amelia Ann Howell, James Austin Carrier; two great grandchildren, Chaz Lee Wilcox, Lexus Lillian Childress; and the church family of Bulters Chapel Baptist Church and many other friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Smith was preceded in death by her first husband, William H. (Bill) Wallis; her second husband, James Authur Smith, a son, Michael Wallis; a brother, Hershell Hensley.
