Annie Belle Shutt Williams departed this life on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at the age of 94 years, 7 months, and 6 days. She was born in Savannah, Tennessee on October 7, 1925, the daughter of the late Ed and Cecily Belle Welch Shutt. On March 9, 1945, she was united in marriage to Wilbert Ray Williams, who preceded her in death on July 6, 1973.
Annie Belle was a homemaker and enjoyed playing games, especially cards and dominoes. She was a member of the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Annie Belle is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Lynn Williams Holt and Nancy Williams May Rickman and her husband Lynn; grandchildren, Lori Holt Mitchell, Janet Holt, Randy Holt, and Chris May; great grandchildren, Ashley Mitchell Matlock, Mason Mitchell, Kaylie Mitchell, Lilly May, Megan Holt, Rebecca Boykin, Clay Holt, and Bailey Holt; and great-great grandchildren, Jon Daniel and Connor Holt Matlock.
In addition to her parents and husband, Annie Belle was preceded in death by a grandchild, Brian May; brothers, W.E. Shutt, Joe Frank Shutt, Robert Eugene Shutt; a sister, Naomi Shutt Patterson; and sons-in-law, Johnny May and Tommy Holt.
