Anthony Shankle

Anthony Shankle was born on October 19, 1969 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of the late James Ervin and Linda Paulette McClanahan Shankle.

Anthony worked as a logger in logwoods and sawmills for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed going fishing, squirrel hunting, and growing tomatoes. He loved his family and being with his children. Anthony attended Souls Harvest Church in Savannah, Tennessee.

Anthony Shankle departed this life on July 24, 2025 in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 55 years, 9 months, and 5 days.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Shankle of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Charity Nichole Shankle of Savannah, Tennessee; son, AJ Shankle (Calin) of Lexington, Tennessee; grandchildren, Drake Shankle, Emeline Shankle, Archer Shankle, Harper Shankle, Anchor Shankle, and Annabella Walker and his close buddy, Hobbit Benson.

In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by his brother, James Allen Shankle.
