Arland Iris Jones

Arland Iris Keeton Jones of Waynesboro, TN was born January 24, 1920 in Collinwood, TN the daughter of the late William (Will) A. and Ella Ann Brewer Keeton. She was united in marriage to Andrew Gerald Jones on April 2, 1938 and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2003.



Mrs. Jones was a retired sales representative for Avon Products and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



Mrs. Jones departed this life on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 6 Months, 16 Days.



She is survived by sons, Stephen D. Jones of Grand Junction, CO, Gerald W. Jones of Collinwood, TN; daughters, Betty Helton, Linda Karpati, and Arland Kay Balentine all of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Danna Crotts, William T. White Jr., Andrew Helton, Matthew Helton, Stephen Karpati, David A. Jones, Andrea Seiner, Daron Lawson, Shannon Draughn, Katrina Risner; 23 Great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a son, David Jones; a daughter, Iris Faye White; grandchildren, Jeremy Talley, Bronson Jones; brothers, Carter and Clay Keeton; sisters, Maggie Berry, Grace Edwards, and Joetta Lester.



Services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with H.H. Hurst and Jerry L. Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors (Wayne County) directing. Pallbearers will be William T. White, Jr., David Jones, Stephen Karpati, Andrew Helton, Matthew Helton, and Jeremy Risner.
