Arnett Butler

Services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with , Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens , Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Mr. Butler departed this life on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 1 Month, 30 Days. He was born July 17, 1923 in Collinwood, Tennessee the son of the late Joe Cephas and Fronie Matilda Daniels Butler. In addition to parents, Mr. Butler was preceded in death by wives; Veda Lancaster Butler and Lillie Mae Andrews Butler; granddaughters; Patricia Yeiser and Kathy Butler; sisters, Vera Nelson; Lena Mae Darnell; Christine Goodman and Lou Willa Preslar



Mr. Butler was a factory worker ; member of the Freewill Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army.



He is survived by three sons, Paul David Butler of Murfressboro, TN, Charles Butler and Roger Butler both of Waynesboro, TN; daughter, Glenda Crews of Muscle Shoals, Ala



9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter,
